As a follow up to our previous blog topic on “Tips for Dancers in their First Competition“, we have attached two brief videos (see above and below).

These videos show our dancers receiving their trophies at the recent Legacy Dance Competition this past weekend in Middleton, WI.

The studio overall had a very successful competition receiving awards on several dance routines in a variety of age groups.

Thirty-five dancers from the studio participated in the competition, competing in over 30 dances.

Especially exciting was the fact that several of our dancers competing in their very first dance competition did extremely well, both in their small group routines and in the large group routine to the music of TRON.

It was both a nervous and exciting time for these young dancers. This competition also helped them “fine tune” their routines for several upcoming competitions in April.

All this proved the point that a lot of hard work, practice, and just going out on stage and having fun really works in being successful!
